The U.S. Air Forcefulness is the youngest American military branch, forming in the 20th century after the invention of the airplane. Structure of the Air Force

- Air Force Reserve Control – Operates the Air Force Reserve.
- Air Strength Space Command – Projects U.South. airpower into space.
- Air Forcefulness Special Operations Control – Provides rapid response special forces, like air commandos.
- Air Mobility Command – Coordinates and provides the transportation of troops and supplies.
- Pacific Air Forces – Responsible for the Asia-Pacific region.
- U.Southward. Air Forces in Europe – Responsible for Europe and Africa, coordinates with NATO.
- Air Force Cyberspace Control – The newest Major Command, Cyberspace Command volition be tasked with protecting U.S. communications and commerce from network-based attacks. Non yet operational -- in the planning stages every bit of February 2007 with no definite launch date gear up.
The Major Commands are divided into 17 Numbered Air Forces (NAFs). The specific roles of the NAFs are subject to frequent reorganization. Joining the Air Strength

Reflecting the Air Forcefulness'due south focus on standing didactics, Goldfuss spends a lot of time taking online military instruction courses and learning German (she knows her adjacent consignment will take her to an Air Forcefulness Base in Germany).
